“We believe lecturers should teach, not troubleshoot. Chaki exists to remove every barrier between great educators and their students.”
The Problem We Saw
When COVID-19 hit, Kenyan universities and TVETs were mandated to move online. The problem? Most institutions didn't have the infrastructure, the tools, or the support to make it work.
Lecturers were handed Moodle logins and told to figure it out. Students with feature phones and expensive data bundles were expected to access platforms designed for desktop computers with broadband.
The digital divide didn't close — it widened. And the lecturers, already overworked and underpaid, bore the burden.

Our Approach
We're not another tool. We're a partner.
Traditional LMS platforms give you a blank canvas and say “good luck.” Chaki takes your raw materials — course outlines, notes, student lists — and builds your complete digital classroom. We handle the technology so you can focus on what you do best: teaching.
Managed Service
We do the setup, configuration, and maintenance. You just teach.
